Jason LaConfora of the NFL Network reported via Twitter that the Jacksonville Jaguars have reached terms with free agent linebacker Paul Posluszny to a six-year deal on Tuesday evening.

The first significant free agent signing (will be official on Friday) for the Jaguars comes in the form of Posluszny, a tackling machine.

He spent the past four years in Buffalo, and in racked up 151 tackles last season.

Don't be intimidated by the long name, most of the fans in Buffalo (who are probably mourning the loss right now) refer to him as "Poz".

Besides the fact that he is a tackling machine, he has been a thorn in the side of the Jaguars almost every time they have played the Bills  recently. He is known as a heady linebacker, that has a nose for the ball and a knack for disrupting plays.  If I can be unprofessional for a second, I sure am glad that he's on our side now.

Stay tuned for more analysis on this big free-agent signing.
