Jacksonville Jaguars rookie linebacker Mike Lockley had a pretty memorable in his first NFL contest.

That moment will cost him $20,000.

The NFL is fining Lockley for leading with his head against defenseless New England Patriots receiver Taylor Price during Thursday's 47-12 loss to the Patriots, according to Paul Kuharsky.

It was a gruesome hit and it negated an interception late in the contest.

Lockley, an undrafted free agent from FAU, can appeal the penalty if he sticks with the Jaguars or gets picked up by another NFL team.

Per ESPN:

"Since Lockley is not getting paid a regular-season salary, he only will have to pay the fine if he makes Jacksonville's roster or lands with another team. Lockley also could appeal the penalty."

Tough break rook, but leading with the head is a definite no no.
