It's amazing what a good night's sleep can do for you. Yesterday's game was dreadful in many ways, but I think that the Jacksonville Jaguars and the coaching staff can pull it together and be competitive against the Saints next week.
Next week is a critical home game that will be a precursor to a tough stretch of games against the Ravens, Steelers, and Texans. The Jaguars coaching staff, namely Jack Del Rio and Dirk Koetter, needs to at least have somewhat strong offensive showing in front of the home crowd or things will get ugly. Therefore, I expect for the Jaguars offense to come out with guns blazing, especially since Blaine Gabbert has shown that he can sling the ball and hit his targets in stride. I expect screens, I expect play action passes, and most of all, I expect a balance between the running and passing game! After all, you guys are not just trying to impress the city-wide fanbase, you're trying to impress your boss so you can keep your job.
