The Houston Texans' offensive effort has taken a blow as star wide receiver Andre Johnson has been declared out for Sunday's game. This marks the 4th consecutive game that Johnson will miss due to a hamstring injury. So far, Johnson has played in 4 games and has 25 catches for 352 yards for 2 touchdowns.
This is a big positive for the Jaguars chances for an upset on Sunday. That leaves Rashean Mathis and Derek Cox defending against Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones, which could basically take out half of the Texans' passing offense. However, this also means that the Texans will probably use more two tight end sets. The Jaguars have had issues covering athletic tight ends like Jimmy Graham (10 catches, 132 yards) and Dustin Keller (6 catches, 101 yards) this year. Facing Owen Daniels, who is a tight end that is on the rise (He is also the leading receiver), the Jaguars' secondary will probably have issues covering him. Then again, if Matt Schaub is running for his life throughout most of the game, it won't really matter.Tags: Andre Johnson, Derek Cox, Football, Houston Texans, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jaguars, Matt Schaub, NFL, Owen Daniels, Rashean Mathis
