The Mike Sims-Walker experiment ended as quickly as it began.
The Jacksonville Jaguars placed Sims-Walker on the injured reserved list on Wednesday, less than two weeks after bringing back the receiver who was recently cut by the St. Louis Rams.
To fill his place, the Jaguars have claimed Cleveland Browns receiver Brian Robiskie off of waivers.
Robiskie (6-3, 209) was drafted in the second round by the Browns in 2009. He's considered a solid possession receiver at best.
Here's what Matt Williamson of Scout's INC. told ESPN's Paul Kudarsky.
"He has better size than some of their smaller receivers, but he's not nearly as shifty or explosive as those guys," Williamson said. "Robiskie is a pure possession guy that struggles to separate and doesn’t have outstanding physicality. In essence, he is a jack of all trades and a master of none."
Robiskie's size is a much needed asset on a Jacksonville team that lacks bigger receivers.
