There are a few things that you learn on Sundays when you're not focusing on the exploits of your favorite team and it's not just about your place in the universe or which sports bar has the best plate of  Ultimate Nachos, You can actually learn more about your own team, even when they're not playing.

1. The Jacksonville Jaguars Defense is a Legit Top 10 Defense

The Jacksonville Jaguars defense has allowed the most offensive points of the season against the Houston Texans with 24. At least 10 of those points came off of the two interceptions that Blaine Gabbert threw. Sure, 24 points is a below average number for a top offense, but it is even more impressive considering the Texans' performance in Week 9 against the 5th ranked defense in the league. Going into halftime, The Texans led the Browns 24-3 going into halftime. To be that stingy on defense is definitely a drastic and welcome improvement from last year.

2. The Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns Games are Easily Winnable

Both the Colts and the Browns have had issues generating offensive production. and with this defense, I doubt that either team will put up anything more than 13 points. That Jaguar offense needs to shape up immediately, because their window of opportunity for improvement is pretty short . After these two games, the Jags will face the Texans, Chargers, Buccaneers, and Falcons. In case you haven't noticed, all of them have offenses that can sling the ball around.

3. Never Underestimate the Power of The Underdog

I'm sure that the Chiefs faithful were probably counting Sunday's game against the winless Dolphins as a lock. Now, they're sitting at 4-4 and wondering how they allowed the Dolphins to shut them down and get their first win. The Jags should remember this wellas they go into Indianapolis and Cleveland in the next two weeks. Conversely, the Texans, Chargers, and Falcons will be favored heavily against the Jags. There are no "easy" games in the NFL and everyone and anyone can be beaten.
