The Jacksonville Jaguars front office seems to be quite active today. RT Eben Britton and LB Kyle Bosworth have both been placed on injured reserve. Britton was a second round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Since his rookie season, where he started all 15 games, he has been plagued by injury. In the past two years, he has only played 11 games due to shoulder and back injuries. Kyle Bosworth was an undrafted free agent linebacker that spent 2010 on IR and made the team in 2011.
Eben Britton has been a bit of a disappointment so far due to his recurring injuries, but I guess his injuries will continue to persist too long to be worth a roster spot right now. That unfortunately leaves Guy Whimper at right tackle (Perhaps the name Guy Whiffer would be more appropriate). As for Kyle Bosworth, his injury depletes the depth at linebacker. It shouldn't be much of an issue since the linebackers are all playing at a high level right now.Tags: Eben Britton, Football, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jaguars, Kyle Bosworth, NFL
