It was an ugly game, but it was still a successful 17-3 victory for the Jacksonville Jaguars as they squashed the Indianapolis Colts.

The Good

The Defense was very stout today, even with the injuries to Terrance Knighton and Rashean Mathis. Allowing only 3 points on offense for any team in the NFL is a great feat.

Jeremy Mincey in particular was a monster today, registering 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble. I might have to add Mincey getting 10 sacks to my predictions…

Maurice Jones-Drew carried the offense yet again, gaining 114 yards and a touchdown.

Chastin West made his case as a wide receiver today. My goodness, he was actually catching the ball! That's motre than I can say for Marcedes Lewis.

Eugene Monroe has been pretty good today.  I mean, did you even hear Dwight Freeney's name today? I thought so. Taz didn't even register a tackle today.

The Bad

Guy Whimper was abused all day. I wonder how we only managed to get out of this game with only two sacks . Get well soon, Eben Britton.

Josh Scobee, how did you miss that 45 yarder going tnto the half? That should've been money.

Some of Nick Harrris' punts were pretty bad. Not Matt Turk bad, but a 33 yard punt is pretty bad.

The Ugly

The offense in the first half  was straight up ugly. Gabbert started off badly with that interception and then all of a sudden, the Colts started looking like the Steelers. Yikes. Fortunately, the second half was a lot better and the Jags won, so we don't have to dwell on it. Still, Blaine Gabbert's performance in the first 30 minutes of play was disconcerting for those that were looking for progress from Blaine Gabbert.
