The Jacksonville Jaguars have filled their roster in the wake of season-ending injuries to cornerback Rashean Mathis, offensive lineman Eben Britton and linebacker Kyle Bosworth.
After the trio was placed on Injured Reserve on Monday, the Jaguars signed cornerback Ashton Youboty and defensive end George Selvie, according to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union.
"Youboty played his first five years with the Buffalo Bills after playing at Ohio State where Jaguars defensive coordinator Mel Tucker coached. Tucker was very involved in recruiting Youboty to Ohio State."
Youboty was drafted in the third round by the Buffalo Bills in 2006. He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this August but only lasted there for two weeks.
Selvie was a stud pass-rusher at South Florida, with his most notable season coming in his sophomore year when he logged 14.5 sacks and 31.5 tackles for loss. However, Selvie's production fell off after that and he was drafted in the 7th round by the St. Louis Rams in 2010. He has 1.5 career sacks and was waived by the Rams in September. He could have some value as a pass-rush specialist.
