Terrance "Pot Roast" Knighton is one of the least appreciated members of the Jacksonville Jaguars defense. While he has not put up the eye popping sack or tackle numbers, he has definitely played a huge role in a run defense that only allowed two 100-yard rushers going into Week 11. Any doubts about  his role in the defense were dispersed as third string  RB Chris Ogbannaya ran amok in the second half, reaching the mark on a devastating 40-yard run. I think it is pretty obvious that Terrance Knighton needs to be locked up for the long term during the offseason.

After being selected in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Temple, Terrence Knighton has gained a reputation for not only being one of the biggest dudes on the football field, but for being monster in the middle of the line by disrupting the backfiled with Tyson Alualu. He has 5.5 career sacks, 5 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception in his career.despite his impact, one could wonder how much better he could be if he could control his weight. A common theme in the past couple of offseasons has been Knighton reporting to camp overweight and being held out of practice. Therefore, yto be sure, I woukld add incentives to the contract that gives him a bonus if he shows up tio camp at his proper weight.
