The Jacksonville Jaguars' house-cleaning is not over yet.
Starting wide receiver Jason Hill was waived by the Jaguars in one of several roster transactions on Wednesday.
The Jaguars also signed rookie running back DuJaun Harris from the practice squad, placed safety Courtney Greene on IR and signed cornerback Morgan Trent.
Those moves come a day after the Jaguars parted ways with head coach Jack Del Rio, gave general manager Gene Smith a three-year extension and sold the team to Shahid Khan.
Needless to say, it's been a busy few days.
Hill's release was the most prominent of today's transactions. The 26-year-old wide out was picked up mid-season by the Jaguars last year and showed signs of being a starting wide receiver. A sluggish pre-season and some horrible drops this year ended up making him more of a liability than an asset.
Harris had the looks of a promising third-down type of back in pre-season action and could take reps away from the ineffective Deji Karim.
Morgan Trent, a speedy cornerback from Michigan, was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He is expected to fill the void that Greene's injury has caused in an already depleted secondary.
