The Jacksonville Jaguars have added yet another player to IR. Brian Robiskie, a WR that came to the Jags through waivers, had his season ended today without even playing in a game. He is the 18th player to hit IR for the Jaguars this year. In his place, DT Corvey Irvin was activated from the practice squad to the active roster. He was picked up as a free agent after being a part of the final cuts of the Carolina Panthers.
Brian Robiskie's departure from the active roster leaves only five Jaguar WRs. Young receivers like Cecil Shorts and Jarett Dillard will get a chance to prove their worth to Mel Tucker and the new management. Corevey Irvin's signoing provides more depth to the defensive tackle rotation. However, it might also mean that Terrance Knighton's ankle injury is more serious than previously thought.Tags: Brian Robiskie, Carolina Panthers, Cecil Shorts, Corvey Irvin, Football, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jaguars, Jarett Dillard, Mel Tucker, NFL, Terrance Knighton
