The Jacksonville Jaguars made more roster moves today, signing Bradley Vierling to the practice squad and waiving Sidney Tarver. You may remember Vierling's name. He spent most of 2010 on the practice squad and he was signed at the end of last year, to compete with John Estes to become Brad Meester's heir apparent. He was placed on IR in September and he eventually reached an injury settlement with the team and apparently he seems to be back.Sidney Tarer was an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee State and it seems that he couldn't make his mark on the team during his short tenure as a Jaguar.
The main significance of this move is the fact that the competition for Meester's replacement is back in full swing. Brad Meester's play hasn't obviously deteriorated, so that probably means that Estes hasn't hasn't played up to par.Tags: Brad Meester, Bradley Vierling, Football, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jaguars, John Estes, NFL, Sidney Tarver, undrafted
