The injury train just keeps on rolling. The Jacksonville Jaguars have now placed Matt Roth and Ashton Youboty on injured reserve, further driving hom the point that this season's injuries have been ridiculously frequent. Roth has missed the past 5 games with a concussion and the pass rush has suffered tremendously without him. Youboty has been a starter at corner since the Houston Texans game in Week 12, and he has filled decently for someone brought in on short notice.
Matt Roth going on IR doesn't make much of an impact, since he has been out for the past month. However, his presence is missed since Leger Douzable isn't as much of a consistent pass rusher. Ashton Youboty makes a big difference since David Jones would be starting at corner in his place. I know that Mel Tucker has made some our defensive backs play out of their minds, but Jones makes me nervous going up against Pierre Garcon. Losing against the Colts next week would be a devastating end to an already rough season. We really don't need to send Mr. Weaver off with a horrible loss at home next Sunday.Tags: Ashton Youboty, Football, Houston Texans, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jaguars, Matt Roth, NFL
