According to Tania Ganguli, Offensive Line coach Andy Heck has been retained by the Jacksonville Jaguars. With Russ Grimm returning to the Arizona Cardinals' coaching staff, I believe that Mike Mularkey hasd a tough tinme finding anyone that would be a major upgrade from Heck. Despite what people may have thought about the offensive line's pass protection (which was quite horrible at times), they did create holes for the league's leading rusher. As for the deficiency in pass protection, one can't place all of the blame on Heck. Not ony did the team face some of the fiercest defenses in the the league, they wetre battling injuries to the point where they were forced to start rookie Will Rackley (A Division II player that played at Tackle) at offensive guard and resident journeyman and turnstile, Guy Whimper at Right Tackle for most of the year. In his defense, Eugene Monroe, who was a bit of a diappointment since he was drafted at 8th overall, made significant strides after getting abused during the preseason.Tags: Andy Heck, Arizona Cardinals, Eugene Monroe, Football, Guy Whimper, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jaguars, NFL, Will Rackley
