The festivities are finally over. Madonna has shown that her music is past its' prime,  Mario Manningham has raised his free agency stock in the span of one night, and I believe I heard Rosie O'Donnell  singing the Habanera. As the Patriots were stopped on their penultimate drive. It's time to get ready for the 2012 season.

First up is the NFL Scouting Combine, which will be held from Februiary 22-28, where the best players in college football will be timed, measured, and interviewed as everyone fawns over the Underwear MVP. After that, one should expect fireworks to start flying when Free Agency starts on Tuesday, March 13. Gene Smith usually knows exactly who he wants to target and he is usually pretty quick on the trigger. Paul Posluszny and Kassim Osgood were first day signings, and I would expect the same to happen this year as well. As for the draft, we will go into more of that later. Over the next couple of months, we'll be going over many of the prospects, so that you can have a more informed opinion as we get closer to the draft.
