Today, we will be analyzing Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe. Despite being considered as a disappointment early in his career, quickly become a rising star due to his highlight reel catches. The Chiefs signed cornerback Stanford Routt to a sizeable deal after he was released from the Oakland Raiders. This gives the Chiefs enough leverage to place the franchise tag on Bowe instead of Brandon Carr. While this may cause the Jaguars to miss out on Bowe, it could allow them to obtain a very good corner in Carr.
+ Familiar with the system
The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the few teams in the league that execute a run-first offense. He probably knows how to play in a west coast style of offense and he's probably well-familiar with blocking on the outside perimeter for Jamaal Charles.
- Bouts of inconsistency
While Bowe can be unguardable at times, he does drop catchable balls at various points. Of course, this could be said for any receiver that isn't named Cris Carter, but it has to be said.Tags: Brandon Carr, Dwayne Bowe, Football, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jaguars, Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs, NFL, Oakland Raiders, Stanford Routt
