Pierre Garcon is a blossoming young receiver for the Indianapolis Colts, functioning as their main deep threat and #1 receiver .In spite of the QB carousel during the Colts' 2011 season, Garcon has managed to put up career numbers. Fortunately for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Garcon has recently rejected a a 5 year deal with the Colts, which likely means that he is going to test the waters of free agency.
+ Young and Speedy
He turns 26 in August and he has the ability to stretch the field as well as being able to make a play on the ball in the air. Either way, he is an ascending talent, which fits Gene Smith's free agent profile to a T.
+ Has a college connection with Cecil Shorts
Garcon went to school at Division III powerhouse, Mt. Union, which is the alma mater of Jaguar receiver Cecil Shorts. This could not only factor in him leaning towards Jacksonville, but he could also help mentor Shorts, being a fellow small school receiver. I can only wonder how incensed fans will be if they learn that their best receiver could be from a Division III school.
At times, his hands can be questionable, even when was catching balls from Peyton Manning. However, it isn't much of a big deal since it happens to pretty much any receiver that isn't named Cris Carter.
