The Jacksonville Jaguars have decided to keep DE Jeremy Mincey with a four year deal worth up to $27.2 million. Mincey was also listening to offers from the Chicago Bears, but he decided to stay in Jacksonville with a nice deal for both sides. Averaging about 6 million per year is pretty good for a defensive end that hovers around average. Mincey was a constantly disruptive force last year. He would basically pressure the quarterback into making a poor throw and then come right back to stuff the running back for a loss on the very next play. Having Mario Williams is a luxury, but having neither him nor Mincey would have been a disaster for this team.
