- As it turns out, the Jacksonville Jaguars aren't expected to be major players for DE Mark Anderson. Perhaps his price went back up again since he became one of the best available rushers on the market since Mario Williams was locked up by the Buffalo Bills.
- Former Jaguars QB David Garrard has signed a deal with the Miami Dolphins. It will be an interesting matchup this year, especially if Garrard wins the starting job.
- Former Colts QB Peyton Manning has agreed to sign with the Denver Broncos, which means that Tim Tebow is on the trading block. For all of the people who want the Jaguars to trade for him, it's not going to happen unless Jaguars owner Shad Khan decides to overrule General Manager Gene Smith's authority. And that is not going to happen. And if it does happen, I'll shave off my goatee.
