-The Jacksonville Jaguars have $20.2 million left to spend towards the salary cap. However, the Jaguars are probably going to tone down the free agency stuff until after the 2012 NFL Draft around the end of the month. That cap money will probably be spent resigning the young, ascending players from General Manager Gene Smith's first draft such as Eugene Monroe, Derek Cox, and Terrance Knighton.
- The AEG stadium deal in Los Angeles seems to have hit yet another snag. The NFL has found the terms of the propsoed deal to be unacceptable, but billionaire developer Phil Anschutz has seemed unwilling to change the terms of the deal so far. This means that the ubiquitous and annoying "Jags to LA." jeers will be quieted for another few months or so.
