Height: 5-11

Weight: 198

40-Time: ~4.38

Draft Stock: He will be selected in the second round and his speed will probably push him to the upper haf of the second round .

Overview

Chris Givens is a speedy receiver for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. He caught 83 passes for 1300+ yards and 9 TDs in 2011. He is a bit of a sleeper when it comes to this deep class of wide receivers, but one should not assume that he just lacks talent. We'll get into that later.

+ Great speed

He is fast enough to create separation against many cornerbacks, yet elusive enough to find a way to elude tacklers. One would think that the two often go together, but it doesn't. Many players with impressive straight-line speed often go down eaily if someone has the angle on them. Givens as well as Kendall Wright have the ability to do both.

-  Just one great year

In his Freshman and Sophomore year the highest amount of yards that he accumulated was 629 yards. To just come in out of the blue and double his totals is a bit suspicious.

Career Highlight

7 receptions, 170 yards and 2 touchdowns against Syracuse.
