-  Jacksonville Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts is planning to improve on his rookie season in which he only caught 2 balls for 30 yards and a touchdown. He spent his time during the offseason at his alma mater, Mt. Union where he took classses and worked out. He also spent time with Washington Redskins WR and fellow alumnus Pierre Garcon to learn how to better himself for the upcoming season.

-  While the New York Jets are not interested in doing HBO's Hard Knocks, the Jaguars are actually interested in doing the show. I'd think it would make entertaining television. Oklahoma Drills, Hearing Joe Cullen yell at the linemen, a QB "competition" between Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne. Heck, we even had a Hummer crash through the front gate last year!  Let the chaos begin!

- The Jaguars and the Oakland Raiders seem to be interested in Pittsburgh DT/DE Myles Caragein. He is likely to become an undrafted free agent in the 2012 NFL Draft. With his versatility on the line, he might be the Jaguars' next Rob Meier.
