- Jacksonville Jaguars LT Eugene Monroe was annoyed with all of the talk about him dropping too much weight last year, stating that the weight wasn't an issue, his strength was. However, despite all of that, Monroe had his best season as a pro in 2011, being the most consistent player on the offensive line that isn't named Uche Nwaneri.
- LB Jojo Dickson has signed with the Jaguars. He originaly signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in during the last week of July, but he was cut about a week into camp, where he probably fell out of favor when the Jaguars signed Paul Posluszny and Clint Session. He had a reputation as a bit of a thumper at Idaho and with the injury to Kyle Bosworth and the departure of Jacob Cutrera, he might find a spot on the team.
- Eben Britton is finally healthy and cleared to play football. Britton's tenure with the Jags have been met with a load of bad luck. In 2010, he tore his labrum and was placed on Injured reserve and in 2011, he sustained a spinal disc injury while doing back squats. After getting surgery on the disc, he sustained a rare and painful infection in his back and was placed on IR for the second year in a row. For Blaine Gabbert's sake, I hope he is healthy. I don't think the passing game can afford to have another year of Guy Whimper starting at right tackle.Tags: Blaine Gabbert, Clint Session, Eben Britton, Eugene Monroe, Football, Guy Whimper, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jacob Cutrera, Jaguars, Jojo Dickson, Kyle Bosworth, NFL, Paul Posluszny, Uche Nwaneri
