Height: 6-2

Weight: 272

Draft Stock: Anywhere from the Chicago Bears at #19 to the Detroit Lions at #23. If he manages to fall past the Lions, he will probably fall into the mid-second round.

Overview

Courtney Upshaw is a defensive end for the Alabama Crimson Tide.  He was a fixture on a suffocating defense that suppresed offenses throughout the 2011 college football season. He is a stocky defensive lineman that fits the left side of the line since he can hold the point of attack and chase down scrambling QBs. However, when it comes to rushing the passer, he's just…boring. The only move in his arsenal is a bullrush and he doesn't really dominate opponents with that.

Career Highlight

6 tackles and sacks against the Auburn Tigers. As you may notice, he doesn't really pop off of the screen andwhen he does get to the QB it seems to be by accident. I don't think this guy will really last in the NFL
