Draft Stock: Robert Griffin III will go second overall to the Washington Redskins



Robert Griffin III is the reigning Heisman trophy winner and he is the force that has single-handedly put Baylor in the national spotlight. He is a dynamic quarterback that is athletic, mobile, accurate, and strong. He is career as a track star shines ion his play, as he can effortlessly run away from defenders in the pocket and still manage to hit a wide open Kendall Wright in stride 40 yards downfield. Think of a young Michael Vick with better accuracy. If that thought fills you with dread and has you rubbing your ankes, you'll know why the Washington Redskins want to take him with the 2nd overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.


Career Highlight

21-27 for 359 yards. 5 TDs, 0 INTS against TCU. First of all, you can see how accurate his passes are. His throws are bullets that can thread the needle through tight windows in coverage. Secondly, on his second and third touchdown throws, his fake drew in the safety and allowed him to hit Kendall Wright and his tight end across the middle for easy touchdowns. His deep passes are also amazingly accurate. Seriously. Wow.
