The Jacksonville Jaguars decided to fortify the defensive line by selecting DT Jeris Pendleton with their 7th round pick. Of all of the 2012 picks, Pendleton is the most intriguing pick of the 2012 draft class. He is 6-2, 328 pounds and he ran a sub 5.0 40-time and had 31 bench press reps, so he is a freak of an athlete. His only knock is that he's 28 years old.. If you look at his background, it is hard not to root for the guy. He had to bypass college to take care of his kids . He worked in a nursing hiome and worked in construction before attending college at 24. Best of luck, Mr. Pendleton, you have reached the big time.
