JAGUARS 101

- Jacksonville Jaguars DT Terrance Knighton has recovered from his Easter surgery with considerable speed. He was treated after a nightclub incident where he was smacked over the head with a vodka bottle, causing alcohol and glass to get into his eye. He has participated in OTAs and he is expected to be fully ready to workout by the time training camp starts in late July.

- It is finally official, Maurice Jones-Drew wants a new deal, which is why he is not attending OTAs. What does this mean? NOT A THING! OTAs are OPTIONAL. Yes, Mojo wants a contract extension, but it is still unlikely that he holds out of the mandatory team activities. It has never been one of Mojo's M.O.s.
