In a surprising move, the Jacksonville Jaguars decided to fire longtime equipment manager Drew Hampton. He has been with the team since 1997 and has formed many relationships with the vaious players that have come and gone in the past 15 years. No reason has been given for the release, but we can all speculate tha it had something to do with 5th overall pick, Justin Blackmon's sore foot that kept him out of the last day of rookie minicamp.  He was given improper cleats(which led to the sore foot) and what probably angered Shad Khan the most is that he had to provide his own new cleats.
