Not long ago Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton was hit in the face with a bottle in a night club in Jacksonville. It was assumed to be pretty serious early on, as he needed emergency eye surgery to remove glass from the eye. Knighton's vision and career was questioned, if not his return time for training camp.
Tania Ganguli of The Florida Times-Union reports he has made significant progress in his return to the field, and today was another step forward. Earlier today she tweeted:
Knighton's eye has seemed swollen last couple days. Doesn't seem to be a concern. Was doing drills with his helmet by himself today #Jaguars

This is great news for the 2011 sixth overall defense. Knighton is a big piece to the interior of the defensive line, who can stuff the run and take on double teams. All indications is that Knighton will be ready for training camp, barring any setbacks.
