JAGUARS 101

For those who have NFL Network, this will surely be an interest to you.

NFL Network has been counting down players week-by-week in a list of the Top 100 from last year. No Jaguars have been mentioned yet, but now the wait is over. According to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union, Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew's name will be called this week.

Jones-Drew, the lone star on the Jaguars offense last year, amassed 1606 rushing yards, and 8 touchdowns. He was on the list last year, ranked at number 30. I assumed he would rank higher this year, as he basically carried the Jags offense on his shoulders. It is safe to say league-wide recognition, and respect for Jones-Drew is definitely there.
