- Jacksonville Jaguars OT Eugene Monroe and C Brad Meester did not practice today. Monroe had his knee wrapped in ice and he mostly rode on the stationary bike during the practices. Meester was given a veteran's day off. CB Rashean Mathis didn't participate in the first few sets of drills, but he was back out with the first team defense in the 11-on-11 drills.

- OG Will Rackley was carted off of the field during the morning practice after a running back rolled onto his ankle. More details will be probably be provided tomorrow.

-  Most of the running backs were pretty impressive during the morning practices. That is, unless they went into the middle of the line. where they were often met by DTs Terrance Knighton and Tyson Alualu.

- The first-team Jaguars offense was a bit more effective today. During the first few days, the Jaguars offense was utterly dominated by the defense. Today, the offense made a few strides. However, it was by no means, a great showing. There were less scrambles and more completions and the offensive line did a better job of giving Blaine Gabbert time in the pocket. That is a great thing to see moving forward.
