JAGUARS 101

- The Jacksonville Jaguars played it safe on Wednesday by making CB Kevin Rutland, DE John Chick, LB Clint Session, LT Eugene Monroe, and OG Will Rackley to sit out. Also, S Jeremiah Brown and WR Laurent Robinson were held out of the evening practicesdue to being checked for head injuries. Robinson's head made contact with a  one- inch  long concrete slab after going up to catch a ball in the back of the endzone. If it had been any more serious, it would've been a freak accident, However, he recovered pretty quickly and was back out there, making plays.

- Jaguars owner Shad Khan made his second consecuitive appearance at training camp practices on Wednesday. On Tuesday, he arrived soon after practice began in his helicopter and signed auitographs. On Wednesday, he made a less conspicuous appearance, but he still signed autographs.

- The Jaguars offense made even more strides today with WR Laurent Robnson starting to step up. Kevin Elliott even made a couple of impressive catches, but overall, there were still too many drops today.
